Last Wednesday was my first day of classes... yes, the madness has begun. I am very excited about this school year though. Mainly I'm excited to see where God will lead me on my new found career path. Also, I am excited about the courses I have this semester- philosophy, english, spanish, and a race class. I had quite a busy weekend, but it was so much fun. I found time to go out, get my studying done,catch up with some friends I hadn't seen for a while, and relax a bit... twas lovely.
Many things about today made me happy, so here is my list of things I'm feeling good about right now/ have made my day:
- I woke up really early and went to the gym, and didn't regret it a bit
- I thought I saw someone on a leash when a friend of mine came up to me and gave me a hug. We had a good laugh about that one.
- I had a light-hearted conversation about hygiene and cleanliness with the woman who works at my favorite health food store on campus. This was after the boy in front of me handed her his school id, which he had been holding with his teeth before passing it to her.
- I spoke to my parents about a tiny issue I came across today and they both seemed to just drop everything they were doing to help me resolve it.
- I went to a club meeting for a human rights group and found ways to lead out in something I am passionate about.
